Some years ago while he was working at The Videodrome, Dead End Group founder Alan Preece threw together a small forum for his employer that sat on the company’s website to attract new customers.

It didn’t take long for Alan to find the confines of the “official” site too constricting and so he moved on and created a Proboards site based along the same lines.

Soon this too became less than the growing needs of the small community required and so a name was chosen and the very first Dead End Movie Forum was born on a shared server setup. It was here that three old friends reunited and Simon hatched the idea of creating a movie based podcast.

So the Dead End Podcasts was born.

The site appeared very quickly after, designed and build by our very own Simon, and the first podcasts found their way to the net within days.

So the site which you are reading this on now is kind of “Dead End Podcasts Version 2″, or “Dead End Movie Forum Verions 5″ (or maybe “6″).
